Context: Collaborative project with my team at MTN, subsequently refined for this portfolio

The Challenge

Mobile account management, package selection, home internet, and customer support involve interconnected decisions, yet customers often encounter them as separate tasks. Information about pricing, renewal, coverage, and verification can become disconnected from the action it informs.

The challenge was to establish a coherent experience that helps customers understand their service, evaluate options, and move between digital and in-person interactions.

My Role & Strategic Response

Working alongside my team at MTN, I contributed to an experience that connects customer tasks with clear information and consistent brand expression. My approach brought together visual communication, interface design, and an understanding of the relationship between marketing, sales, and service.

The strategy centered on decision clarity: presenting the information customers need before asking them to commit.

Design Resolution

The experience is structured around Home, Shop, Dealers, and Account. The account overview connects usage with expiry and spending. Package comparisons place allowance, validity, and price together. The home internet journey introduces coverage before purchase, while registration screens explain the distinction between a prepared application and an activated service.

A shared visual language connects these journeys through consistent typography, layouts, actions, and status messages.

Outcome

The portfolio prototype demonstrates a unified approach to account visibility, purchasing, and service handoffs. It shows how information architecture and visual hierarchy can connect individual transactions into a more understandable customer experience.

The original project was collaborative. This portfolio version includes subsequent refinements and illustrative information; it does not present measured live-product results.
